What can you use the app for?

Lighthouse is an organizational tool that helps users simplify tasks to work more effectively. The application can function along side Tender Support so users get a full spectrum of options to seamlessly collaborate on tasks and get them done. Users can create or reply to tickets from their email inbox. Lighthouse also allows users to set milestones for projects that allow them to plan upcoming features and establish solid release dates. Users can also automatically organize tasks using behind the scenes categorization. Lighthouse lets users consolidate all of their projects and related tasks into one web based application. Additional features include document and image sharing tools that make it much easier to submit a detailed ticket that anyone on the user’s team can access.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Just like Tender Support, Lighthouse was created by the ENTP team. The company was founded in February of 2008. Using Javascript, Ruby on Rails and Ruby, ENTP produces functional applications that meet the needs of their clients. Today, ENTP maintains Lighthouse and Tender Support, constantly striving to improve these core applications and provide users with a better overall experience.

What are the differences to other apps?

Lighthouse is an effective choice for a number of reasons. First, it is tailored to suit a number of different types of businesses from small organizations of five to ten individuals to those with more than 50 employees working on a variety of tasks. Lighthouse is also designed to integrate with its companion application, Tender Support.

How does the web app look and feel to use?

Lighthouse welcomes users with a dark color scheme and attractive lighthouse logo. The site is professional in appearance and offers simple navigational tools that help users find the answers to all their application questions. After signing up for access to Lighthouse, many users find that the design further compliments its functionality. It remains professional throughout but incorporates avatars and hints of color to help offset the white and grey background of each menu.

How does the registration process work?

A new visitor can become a Lighthouse user by clicking on the grey “Pricing and Signup” link at the top, right hand corner of the homepage. The user must click on the light blue “Try Lighthouse for free” button at the bottom, right hand corner of the following page. The attractive registration form asks for a URL, email address and password. A note advises the user that they are automatically agreeing to the site’s terms of service and privacy policy by submitting their information.
